HK$226,800 per programme (HK$6,300 per credit for 36 credits) for local students (excl. summer school)
HK$295,200 per programme (HK$8,200 per credit for 36 credits) for non-local students (excl. summer school)
In addition, students have to pay the fees for a summer school course organised by an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school outside Greater China. The fees, including the cost of accommodation, totaled approximately EUR1,200 for Ljubljana Summer School (https://summerprogrammes.ef.uni-lj.si/programmes/ljubljana_summer_school/online_programme_information/) / GBP3,100 for Leeds International Summer School (http://www.leeds.ac.uk/info/125000/leeds_international_summer_school) in 2019. Students make the payment of course fee directly to the offering institution and also bear the costs of travel, visa, insurance, etc. MSc BM programme does not charge a fee for the 6 credits.
Scholarship
A maximum of HK$3 million of Merit-based Scholarships is available.
PolyU reserves the right to change or withdraw the scholarship at any time. In case of any dispute/disagreement, PolyU’s decision is final.

Programme Aims
This programme aims to help students seek practical solutions in a global and dynamic business environment.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of the Programme, students will be able to develop their knowledge, skills and intellectual abilities as defined in the broad learning outcomes which are underpinned by the specific learning objectives below:
The development of managerial knowledge and skills is a significant community need in any society that seeks to build on the opportunities inherent in a changing world. This programme is designed to provide students with a set of soft skills and the integrative skills required to function in a global environment.
Programme Structure
The programme is designed with a structured progression pattern, and students are highly encouraged to follow the pattern to benefit from cohort-based study and to graduate in one year.
The programme requires a total of 42 credits.
Compulsory Subjects (11 subjects for a total of 36 credits)
*** To earn the 6 credits for the International Experience, students are required to successfully complete a summer school course provided by an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school outside Greater China. Payment of course fee should be made directly to the offering institution. MSc BM programme does not charge a fee for the 6 credits. The transferability of credits earned from the summer school course with regards to the 6 PolyU credits will be determined based on the academic equivalence of the summer school course.
*** Partner university and final arrangements for summer school course are subject to continuous review and change.
# i. These subjects have been included in the list of reimbursable courses under the Continuing Education Fund (CEF).
ii. The MSc in Business Management programme is recognised under the Qualifications Framework (QF Level 6).
Elective Subjects (2 subjects from the following list for a total of 6 credits)

(i) Students may also select up to one Elective from the “Common Pool Electives” OR the “MBA Speciality Electives" (excluding the subject "Independent Projects"). For the subject lists, please refer to https://fb.polyu.edu.hk/study/taught-postgraduate-programmes/common-pool-electives/ (Common Pool Electives) and https://fb.polyu.edu.hk/mba/programme/programme-structure/ (MBA Speciality Electives).
(ii) Not all subjects will be offered in a given year, subject to factors such as staff availability, student enrolment, programme resources and so on.
(iii) Programme structure, course names and content are subject to continuous review and change.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
If you are not a native speaker of English, and your Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, you are expected to fulfil the University’s minimum English language requirement for admission purpose. I was incredibly lucky to study at the summer school of the University of Ljubljana. I did Investment Management and Portfolio Management, and Managing Family Business to expand my knowledge of portfolio diversification and the trend of family business.
There were insightful lectures, field trip and activities held by the school in the evening over the three weeks of the course. My classmates and I also travelled around Europe, in Hungary, Croatia and Germany.
