Students studying for the MSc in Global Food Safety Management and Risk Analysis are required to complete the following courses:

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Hong Kong and pursuing around 6 years of research on health, I planned to enrich my knowledge in a related area, food science and safety. Although this is a full-time programme, the schedule of the classes and assessments can also fit students who work full-time. PolyU emphasises the application of knowledge in the real world, which is revealed through lectures, exercises and assessments. These learning activities give students room and motivate them to learn how to apply theory in practice. The lecturers include not only include academics, but also speakers with ample industry experience. I have enjoyed the lectures and experience sharing very much! This programme has offered me new perspectives on and exposure to food safety from a global point of view. I have also enjoyed networking with students from different parts of the world and across different industries. Please say hello if you see me passing by at PolyU, because I am currently working here. I hope that you will join this programme and enjoy your studies here too.  | Time flies. It is time to say goodbye to all of my funny classmates and helpful teachers. I am so proud of being one of the first graduates of the MSc in Global Food Safety Management and Risk Analysis programme at PolyU. As a student from mainland China, it was not easy for me to keep up with the tight and fast schedule of the programme. This was an unforgettable studying experience for me, and I hope that others will take the opportunity too. Although the programme was being delivered for the first time, all of the professors and lecturers were well prepared and experienced, and all of the courses were designed systematically according to international standards. This programme opened my mind, giving me a global vision of the food industry. It made me more confident about pursuing my career in the future.
