Programme Characteristics
This programme is unique in Hong Kong and has a long history, having been launched in 1978. Many of our graduates have already attained senior positions in the industrial and commercial sectors.
The broad-based design of the programme enhances graduates' competitiveness and adaptability in the dynamic economic and technological environment of Hong Kong.
Graduates can also pursue further studies in many different fields at local and overseas universities.
Career Prospects
Our graduates work in a variety of areas, from education to manufacturing, and serve in industrial sectors and government organisations. They take up a wide range of positions, such as engineers in testing laboratories, electronic engineers, materials engineers, sales engineers, quality assurance engineers, reliability engineers, customer service engineers, product engineers, project engineers, instructors, computer engineers, programmers, IT officers, technical officers and technicians. Their choices of career are diverse and flexible and some of them pursue further studies at university.
